🛡️ Pixel Prime Privacy Policy
🛡️ Pixel Prime (formerly Haptix) Privacy Policy (v10.12Update)
Effective Date: March 29, 2026
1. Introduction Mohd Amaan built the Pixel Prime (formerly Haptix) app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Mohd Amaan at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use my Service.
2. Information Collection and Use For a better experience, while using our Service, the app requires certain permissions to function correctly. Pixel Prime is an offline-first application for its core functionality. We do not transmit your core personal data (messages, contacts, call logs, location) to any external servers.
2.1. Notification Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) Pixel Prime requires Notification Access to detect incoming notifications from other apps installed on your device.
Why we use it: This allows the app to trigger custom haptic (vibration) feedback when a specific app sends a notification.
Data Handling: We only read the "Package Name" (e.g., com.whatsapp) to identify the app. We do not read, store, save, or transmit the content of your messages, contacts, or sensitive information. All processing happens locally on your device in real-time.
2.2. Installed Apps (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) Pixel Prime requires access to your list of installed applications.
Why we use it: This is necessary to display a dashboard where you can select specific apps to assign custom vibration patterns.
Data Handling: This list is displayed only to you within the app. It is never uploaded to any server.
2.3. AI Haptic Composer Input
Purpose: The AI Haptic Composer allows users to generate custom vibration patterns by providing descriptive text prompts (e.g., "Heartbeat," "Gunshot").
Data Handling: We do not store, log, or link these text prompts to your personal identity or device information. This input is processed only for the immediate and temporary purpose of generating the haptic pattern and is then immediately discarded.
Generated Patterns: The custom haptic patterns generated by the AI are stored locally on your device for your use with selected applications.
2.4. Call Log Data (READ_CALL_LOG) - Caller Haptics Our application requests access to your Call Logs strictly for the core "Caller Haptics" device automation feature.
Why we use it: We use this permission exclusively to detect incoming call events in real-time so the app can automatically trigger specific, user-defined haptic feedback (vibrations) for specific contacts.
Data Handling: We DO NOT collect, store, transmit, upload, or share your call log data, phone numbers, or contact history. All processing happens entirely offline and locally on your device in real-time. Once the haptic feedback is triggered, the call state data is immediately discarded.
3. Log Data and Third-Party Services Since the app does not connect to the internet for its core functionality, we do not collect server-side logs.
Log Data: In a case of an error in the app, the Android Operating System may collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data.
Application Configuration (Remote Config): We utilize Firebase Remote Config to remotely manage and adjust application features and controls. This service uses an anonymized instance ID and does not collect any personal data or usage information that could identify you.
Third-Party AI Services: The generation of haptic patterns may utilize secure, anonymized third-party AI/LLM services for processing the text prompt. The input is transferred under strict confidentiality agreements purely for pattern generation and is not retained by them.
4. Accessibility Services Pixel Prime uses the Android Accessibility Service API to provide haptic feedback while typing (Mechanical Keyboard feature). This service monitors interaction events to trigger vibrations. However, no keystroke data, personal information, or sensitive content is collected, stored, or transmitted to any server. The service operates entirely locally on your device.
5. Service Providers The app does not use third-party data processing services that collect personal data. The app primarily uses Android System APIs and the third-party services mentioned in Section 3 for app maintenance and configuration only.
6. Security I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security. However, since Pixel Prime operates offline for core functions, your data remains strictly on your device.
7. Children’s Privacy These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as new features are introduced. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
